Barbara Adams is a physiotherapist who has devoted the past 4 decades to looking after seniors and those with physical disabilities.
She worked in the public health care system from 1984 until 2007 when she moved into the private sector. Prior to getting elected in 2017, Barbara was the Clinical Director of PhysioCare at Home and she ran a chronic pain program at the Atlantic Balance and Dizziness Centre.
She is a past member of several boards of directors including CARP NS, VON, Ocean View Continuing Care Centre, Serving Seniors Alliance and the Eastern Passage and Area Business Association.
Barbara is the minister of Seniors and Long Term Care.
