Dr. Trevor Boudreau will be the Progressive Conservative Candidate for Richmond in the next provincial election. He was acclaimed on August 6.
“Tim Houston and his Progressive Conservative team have demonstrated again and again that they have the ideas and the know how to make life better for the people of Richmond and all of Nova Scotia,” Dr. Boudreau said. “I am excited to be part of a team that has a thoughtful, modern plan for our future.”
Dr. Boudreau is a former Port Hawkesbury Town Councillor, a health provider, and a businessperson, with an extensive history of community involvement. He understands the challenges rural communities face and as MLA, his mission will be to ensure rural communities, and the people who live in them, thrive.
“Trevor Boudreau is going to make a great MLA,” said PC leader Tim Houston. “His commitment to the people in his community comes through in everything he does – his business, his volunteer time and his professional endeavours. I am thrilled to have Trevor on our team.”
Dr. Boudreau is a chiropractor who co-owns a multidisciplinary health clinic in Port Hawkesbury. For eight years he served on Port Hawkesbury Town Council. He is an active community volunteer who is the former Vice President of the Strait Area Chamber of Commerce, the former Chair of the Board for Louisdale Community Homes, former Chair of the Allan J. MacEachen Airport and is presently the co-chair of the Cape Breton South Recruiting for Health Committee.
Dr. Boudreau and his wife Sarah have two children, Luke and Kate.
