HALIFAX – Today’s Chamber of Commerce forum was another reminder that PC Leader Tim Houston is the only leader with a team and a plan that is working to make it happen for Nova Scotians.
Halifax Citadel-Sable Island PC candidate Eleanor Humphries noted a clear contrast between Houston and the other two leaders. While Liberal Leader Zach Churchill and NDP Leader Claudia Chender are focused on the internal problems facing their respective parties, Houston is focused on Nova Scotians' priorities: lower taxes, more doctors, and higher wages.
“Tim Houston demonstrated this morning the same can-do leadership that Nova Scotians have come to depend on over the last three years. He’s in their corner doing whatever it takes to make it happen, fixing the damage caused by previous Liberal and NDP governments,” said Humphries. “Zach Churchill is desperately trying to hang on to as many seats as he can, including his own, while Claudia Chender’s party is increasingly divided over candidate issues like now independent candidate Tammy Jakeman, classroom cutter Ramona Jennex, double-dipper Lisa Lachance and defund police supporter Lisa Blackburn.”
Several Chambers of Commerce from across the province came together to host this morning's session in downtown Halifax, which featured the three major party leaders.
