Chris Curtis

Chris Curtis

Dartmouth South

For the last 13 years, Chris has worked in business development roles in the institutional, commercial, and industrial construction sectors. He has promoted Nova Scotia companies to new markets and potential clients and knows what it takes to help businesses succeed.

His commitment to serve the community comes naturally. His family have been tireless stewards of their community for many years. His mother volunteers within her faith community and his father works with the Royal Canadian Legion in support of our veterans. His sister is an active advocate for students with Dyslexia so they can obtain the necessary curriculum required to succeed.

A former Cadet, Chris started his volunteer experience in university where he assisted intellectually challenged adults. He volunteered in minor hockey, chaired the Max McKeen Martin Memorial Golf Tournament for the IWK Immunology Department and volunteered with the Construction Sector Council to encourage youth interest in the building trades and advance unionized trades.

Chris is the proud father of three adult children. He and his partner and a cat named Jessie live in the “flower streets” of Dartmouth.
