CTV roundtable shows only Tim Houston can make it happen for Nova Scotians

HALIFAX, N.S. – Thursday night’s CTV roundtable showed Nova Scotians again that Tim Houston is the only leader focused on making it happen for Nova Scotians.

“Nova Scotians know and trust Tim Houston as the leader they can count on to always be in their corner, working as hard as he can to lower taxes, hire and keep more doctors and deliver higher wages,” said Tara Miller, provincial campaign co-chair for the PC Party. “Zach Churchill and Claudia Chender are distracted by the litany of problems in their political parties, while Tim Houston and his team are focused on fixing what previous Liberal and NDP governments broke.”

Churchill has yet to answer questions about why he wants to impose a new carbon tax to please Justin Trudeau or why he gives more than twice the amount of money to Justin Trudeau’s Liberals instead of to his own political party. Chender’s party, meanwhile, is divided over Eastern Passage independent candidate Tammy Jakeman, in addition defending other controversial candidates like classroom cutter Ramona Jennex in Kings South, defund police supporter Lisa Blackburn in Sackville-Uniacke and taxpayer funded double dipper Lisa Lachance in Halifax Citadel-Sable Island.

“Since calling the election for November 26, Tim Houston has consistently shown that he’s the leader with the team and the plan that is working to make it happen for Nova Scotians,” added Miller.  “Nova Scotians don’t want to go back to the high taxes, the cuts and the chaos caused by the Liberals and the NDP.  They want to keep building up with Tim Houston and the PC Party.”
