Houston first leader to visit home constituencies of other party leaders

YARMOUTH – As the election campaign wraps up its second week, PC Leader Tim Houston is the first major party leader to visit the constituencies of his opponents.

Last week, Houston campaigned with Dartmouth South PC candidate Bea MacGregor, who’s running against NDP Leader Claudia Chender. Yesterday, the PC Leader campaigned with Yarmouth PC candidate Nick Hilton, a nurse and municipal councillor running against Liberal Leader Zach Churchill.

“No matter where you live in Nova Scotia, I am inviting Nova Scotians to make it happen for their communities by electing members to work on their behalf as MLAs as part of our PC Team,” said Houston.  “The PC Party I lead as Premier respects every voter and we will campaign as hard as possible to earn their confidence.”

While Churchill and Chender have avoided campaigning in many areas of the province, Houston continues to get out with as many PC candidates across Nova Scotia as possible.
