Julie is an accomplished businesswoman and community leader who will carry the PC Party banner in Hammonds Plains-Lucasville in the next provincial election.

She is the President of the PC Party, the Chair of Equal Voice Nova Scotia and serves as director on the boards of numerous organizations including the Royal International Tattoo Society. She is an active volunteer, serving with United Way, groups focused on affordable housing and food security. She has strong ties to Hammonds Plains-Lucasville through the people she grew up with, has many connections within the church community and the local businesses that she supports.

Julie brings more than 30 years of senior management experience to the role and is known for being a strong advocate for local business. She recently served as executive director of the Halifax Seaport Farmers’ Market and currently, she offers consulting support to help businesses reach their full potential.

She was born in Halifax, NS and grew up in Head of St. Margarets Bay. She has celebrated 30 years of marriage with her husband Mike and is a mother to Andrew, Emily, Matthew and mother-in-law to his wife Anne.
