MLA John Lohr will continue to fight for the people of Kings North as the PC Candidate for Kings North in the upcoming provincial election.
“Despite the challenges of last year, the future has never been brighter for Kings North,” says Lohr. “It’s been a privilege to represent this amazing piece of Nova Scotia and I am committed to working to make sure people are supported and able to succeed.”
Lohr was a small business owner and farmer before being elected to the Legislature in 2013 and reelected in 2017. He has been the PC Critic for Agriculture and Addictions and Mental Health.
“Western Nova Scotia has the highest number of people needing a family doctor in the province. This affects us all. Unfortunately, Addictions and Mental Health issues have overwhelmed the services available and many cannot get the help they need,” says Lohr. “I am proud to be a part of the PC team that is making health care, mental health and long term care a priority.”
PC Leader Tim Houston says Lohr is a hardworking and welcomed voice around the caucus table.
“John is a person of incredible integrity. He never waivers in what he believes is right for his constituents and this province,” says Houston. “I am proud to have him on my team.”
