Tillley credits Houston Government’s leadership on healthcare as motivation for joining PCs
Northside Westmount MLA Fred Tilley is joining Premier Tim Houston’s team as a member of the PC Caucus.
First elected in 2021, Tilley previously held senior management positions at the Nova Scotia Community College Marconi Campus, where he served as Principal for eight years and was instrumental in the development of the new NSCC Waterfront Campus in Sydney.
“The people of my community are at the centre of everything I do, and I see Premier Houston as a leader who extends the same respect to all Nova Scotians,” said Tilley. “Premier Houston and his government have been making things happen by being laser focused on healthcare and getting more access across Nova Scotia. I want to be part of the team that is delivering for Nova Scotia, under Premier Houston’s leadership.”
Premier Houston said he is happy to have a strong community advocate like Fred Tilley join his PC team.
“Fred is a leader who has earned the respect of his constituency of Northside Westmount,” said Houston. “With Fred as part of our PC Caucus we will have another member of our team focused on making things happen and building up Nova Scotia.”
With the addition of Fred Tilley, the PC Caucus now has 34 members.
