CLARE – A community economic development officer is running for Tim Houston’s Progressive Conservatives in the next provincial general election.
Ryan Robicheau became the PC candidate for Clare when nominations closed July 18.
“Over the last three years, Tim Houston and his PC team have been fixing what was broken by the previous Liberal government. But we have to keep building on this progress,” said Robicheau. “If the people of Clare place their confidence in me as their next MLA, they can count on me to work day in and day out to deliver on the things that matter most.”
Born and raised in Clare, Robicheau graduated from École secondaire de Clare and obtained his diploma in business administration from Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC). He began his career in financial services 10 years ago and is currently a bilingual economic development officer for CBDC Digby-Clare. In addition to his experience in personal finance and business development, Robicheau is proud of his Acadian heritage and the importance of promoting the unique history, culture and language of the Acadian people.
“Ryan Robicheau represents a new generation and a new voice for the people of Clare,” said Premier Tim Houston. “I need Ryan Robicheau elected as part of our PC team so that the priorities of building up Clare are at the decision-making table.”
Under Premier Tim Houston and Acadian Affairs and Francophonie Minister Colton LeBlanc, Nova Scotia will be celebrating August as Acadian Heritage Month, starting in 2024. Tim Houston’s PC Team has also delivered record investments in healthcare, housing and tax relief to Nova Scotians, while strongly opposing the Liberal carbon tax.
