Under the Rankin Liberal government, Nova Scotians have reached a crisis point trying to find a family doctor.
As of July 1, nearly 70,000 Nova Scotians are without a primary care provider which accounts for seven percent of our population.
Despite promising a doctor for every Nova Scotian, the Liberals have never had a plan to increase recruitment and retention. It’s clear that in order to see an end to the healthcare crisis, we can’t risk Rankin’s weak leadership any longer. We need a change in government.
The PCs are the only team that has put forward a clear, detailed plan - Hope for Health - to increase doctor recruitment and retention, and speed up surgery wait times.
